But I did get a text message from a complete stranger yesterday! Brother Wagner said he had served his mission in Hungary in 1993. He and his daughter were visiting there last weekend, went to church, and met Brandon and his companion. And he sent me this picture!

Norris Elder and North Elder (in Hungary they say it backward from the way we do) |
Today's email was pretty short, but not too sad. Here's what he said:
I don't know why, but this last Sunday I was wondering what I should do. I felt at a loss and decided that probably the solution was to go tracting. But as I thought about it and felt that I should pray. So I did and I felt strongly that what I needed to do was make dinner for my companion. I don't know for sure, but often I feel like what God uses me the most for out here is uplifting other missionaries. It is hard to say, but it has certainly felt that way.
Also, how do I make Icing, glaze, and Frosting?
Love you,
Brandon
So here is my BIG plan: Everyone write to Brandon (or email him). Say something cheery. Send him your favorite icing, glaze, or frosting recipes. Then he can keep cheering up the other missionaries! ;-)
Here's his mailing address:

Make a missionary's day!
Thanks!
