Which Would You Choose?

I am the new Enrichment Night Board Leader in our ward, and I am in charge of our Relief Society birthday social/dinner. For the main course we are having Chicken with Garlic Sauce (delectable!), Parslied Potatoes, a small salad bar, and dinner rolls. I have divvied out a lot of the dinner work among ladies in the ward. But I am very fussy about my desserts not only being delicious, but also delightful to behold. I am making the dessert bar. But I just can't decide which desserts I want to make.

Should I go with the "Rich 'n' Luscious" menu of:

  • Raspberry Trifle with Tangy Whipped Cream
  • Lemon Meringue Pie
  • White Chocolate Cheesecake with Dark Chocolate Ganache Topping
  • Strawberry Bouquets (which would have the chocolate-dipped strawberries (like I did for Valentine's Day) as well as some delightful hand-made, soft candies that look like strawberries)

Or should I go for the "Chocolate Decadence" menu of:

  • Chocolate Cake/Ice-Cream Roll, with Raspberry Sauce (although I haven't decided whether to use chocolate ice-cream, or vanilla. I'm thinking probably vanilla.)
  • Chocolate Mousse Pie with Mint Whipped Cream
  • White Chocolate Cheesecake with Dark Chocolate Ganache Topping
  • Strawberry Bouquets (which would have the chocolate-dipped strawberries (like I did for Valentine's Day) as well as some delightful hand-made, soft candies that look like strawberries)

I haven't heard from the Relief Society presidency as to their preference, but they seem to trust me implicitly. The party is March 10. Which menu would you choose?

I would have chesen the Rich 'n' Luscious, but I don't like the meringue because it's fluffy and fills me up too quickly. It just doesn't leave room for anything else.

Chocolate Decadence. Really, there is no other option! ;)

They both sound delightful, but I'd probably choose the Rich 'n' Luscious, in case there is somebody there who can't have chocolate.

The chocolate mousse sounds soooo good right now, though. YUM!

If you haven't done it yet, go to the sidebar (right) and VOTE ON THE DESSERT POLL.
Thanks!
